Text Box: The United Nations Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UNA-UK) is the UK’s leading independent policy authority on the UN and a UK-wide grassroots membership organisation. UNA-UK is independent of the UN system and receives no funding from it. The Exeter and District Branch is part of the UK-wide network of UNA branches. We aim to promote public awareness of the principles and ideals of the United Nations and to educate and inform locally about the UN. The Branch meets regularly and these meetings are interspersed with special events and speakers on UN-related topics. Regular Branch meetings are held at 7 p.m. at Friends Meeting House, Wynards Lane, Exeter. Details of all Branch meetings and activities are included in the Branch Newsletter.
